So Long Baby

There has been a good deal of media coverage around the filming of the upcoming music video "So Long Baby". Shot to the budget of $50,000+, this may be the longshot of longshots but Joe Glickman is determined to make it a hit. Authenticity is key in the video. Original lettering for the Hi-Lo Club was used, location tapings in Del Shannon's very own home town helps to make the video more vintage. Coopersville, Michigan, although 40 years later, still remains a quaint town on the outskirts of Grand Rapids. It is virtually untouched by new construction. Coopersville to this day remains a small town with an equally small population. New homes and construction projects has seldomly occurred since Shannon grew up there as a child. It remains the farming community it has always been known for.
